One of my favorites! A very popular cocktail, which has a lot of variations: with fruits, berries, different syrups, and sugar. Supply, too, is different: chilled without ice (“straight up”), cooled with ice (on the rocks) and grind into a puree with ice (“frozen”). The classic version consists of only three ingredients: tequila, orange liqueur (most often “Cointreau”) and lime juice. Most often, the “Margarita” served in wide glasses, the edges of which are decorated with slices of lime and sprinkled with salt.
100 ml (5 parts) — tequila (white or gold);
60 ml (3 parts) — liquor (“Cointreau”, you can “Triple Sec” or “Grand Marnier”);
40 ml. (2 parts) — lime juice — 4 PCs.
Into a shaker pour the tequila, liqueur, lime juice, add ice. Shake-stir.
Lubricated with water or lime juice to the edge of the glass (note that it was only the outer part and the salt didn’t fall into the glass). Add ice and shake.
Decorate with slice of lime and you’re done!
