Freshly brewed lungo 450 Milliliters
Black Barbadian sugar To taste
Cardamom To taste

Method of preparation

  1. Cardamom pound in a mortar (or any other way to grind) in a large crumb. Coffee pour into the saucepan, put on fire.

  2. To add to the dessert Granita cardamom and sugar. Boil for 7-10 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat. Leave coffee to cool slightly, then strain to remove the cardamom.

  3. Pour the cooled coffee in a large flat container (the thickness of the coffee should not exceed 1.5-2 cm, otherwise the granite would be very difficult to mix) and send in the freezer for 1.5-2 hours.

  4. To get the coffee Granita from the freezer, stir with a fork frozen ground and back into the freezer. After 40 minutes, again loosen the ground with a fork and repeat this procedure every 40 minutes until cooked meals (full crystallization). Total cooking time is about 4 hours from the time the first frosts.

  5. For 3-5 minutes before serving to get the coffee Granita from the freezer to make it slightly melted. Use a fork to gently remove the dessert from the container.

  6. Sort portioned kremanku, you can decorate the small amount of brown sugar and serve immediately. Granite from Sicily is ready!
